On 17 September 2026, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) removed Andrographis paniculata (Andrographis) from the list of ingredients permitted for use in listed medicines in Australia following a review of its safety. This follows a safety review into the potential for severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis.

Nuchev Practitioner Pty Ltd, following agreement with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, is performing a recall for all batches within expiry of the listed medicine ImmunePro Plus 60 Tablets. 

The product contains the herb Andrographis paniculata (Andrographis), which is associated with reports of serious allergic reactions including anaphylaxis.

If you have the listed medicine Immune Pro Plus, do not use it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

Anaphylaxis is the most severe type of allergic reaction and is a medical emergency. An anaphylactic reaction requires immediate treatment with adrenaline (epinephrine). Delayed treatment can be life threatening.
